The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is the professional body for individuals working in automotive and the authoritative source of industry careers information, standards, qualifications and accreditations. The IMI’s Professional Register aims to drive up standards across the automotive industry, providing consumers and customers with added confidence in the industry and the professionals who drive it.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager, this role consists of key account management and maintenance of existing customer and member relationships within the automotive and education sectors. In-line with agreed targets, the Business Development Manager will contribute to growth via development of new business opportunities as well as assisting with the delivery of IMI strategic priorities. This role is a source of industry intelligence, feeding back into the business to inform future direction of strategy, products and services.
The ideal candidate must be customer focussed and commercially orientated and live in the north of England or Scotland. Whilst this role is home-based, the ability to travel within the region and overseas is an essential part of the role.
