Bodyshop Workshop Controller £35k - £40k Sydenham Permanent/Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5.30pm) Our client, located in Sydenham, is looking for an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller to join their team. You will be managing a team of 20 workshop staff, ensuring all tasks are done within a timely manner. Duties & Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Workshop Controller: * Responsible for the efficiency and utilization of technicians within the workshop team. * Ensuring all work is completed timely and accurately, managing the customers expectations at all times. * Reporting and seeking advice on any problems highlighted whilst work is being conducted, so that the customer is informed where delays result. * Keeping up to date with all technological developments. * Providing job instructions to apprentices in order that they develop the practical skills required. * Supporting all team members and working together for the benefit of the dealership. Your Background & Skill: * Proven experience working as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller (will need Bodyshop experience). * Ability to manage a large team, vehicles and daily targets. * Good technical knowledge. * Excellent communication skills. * Good time management skills. * Ability to work well under pressure. * Strong technical knowledge.
