Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller – Croydon, Surrey Due to an internal promotion, our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and career minded Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller to join our family-run crash repair centre based in Croydon, Surrey. Key Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Quality Controller: Polishing vehicles after spraying to ensure a flawless finish Car washing and cleaning (removing overspray, hoovering, detailing interiors) Moving cars around the bodyshop and car park Conducting quality control checks, reviewing job cards, and ensuring repairs meet high standards Blocking, DA Polishing, and machine polishing a wide variety of vehicles Basic IT tasks, including photo uploads and ticking off quality checklistsAbout You: Previous experience in vehicle polishing or bodyshop work is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable with light computer work and handling job cards Full UK Driving License (essential) Willingness to assist with general tasks around the workshop and keep the bodyshop in top condition A team player with a can-do attitudeWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Early finishes are common!Benefits of the Bodyshop Quality Controller Role: Competitive salary: £30,000 – £35,000 20 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension scheme (we’ve gone for the best option) Uniform provided Annual Christmas party and other social events Opportunity to take on private work (just keep the bodyshop manager in the loop)Join our clients friendly, close-knit automotive team and play a key role in maintaining the high standards they're known for.
