Bodyshop Operations Manager– Spider is advertising on behalf of a successful company who specialise in Car and Commercial Vehicle Accident Repairs, Vehicle Painting and Refurbishment. They now have a brilliant opportunity for a Bodyshop Operations Manager to join their team working in their bodyshop based in Eye, Suffolk. As the Bodyshop Operations Manager you will oversee and develop the daily operations of the car and commercial bodyshops, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer service. Other duties will include: Manage scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management when required. Coordinate with department managers and customer service team regarding repairs and estimates for customers. Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure these are adhered to. Monitor production & costs to maximise profitability. Develop relationships with customers, suppliers, and insurance companies. Maintain and develop relationship with existing customers. Identify any business development opportunities with new clients. Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies to improve processes and operations of the business. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the bodyshop team. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. As the Bodyshop Operations Manager you will have previous experience in automotive body repair, particularly with cars and HGVs, along with a history of successful leadership experience. Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication abilities. You will possess knowledge of repair techniques, materials, and equipment in the automotive industry and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail. Valid, clean driver's licence is also essential. On offer is a competitive salary depending on experience. Company car and fuel allowance.
