Do you have strong leadership skills and a passion for the automotive industry? We are currently seeking a Body in White (BIW) Supervisor to join our outstanding quality management team, based on-site at one of the UK’s most remarkable Automotive Manufacturers. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Supervisor, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 2 - 5 people across BIW, Paint and Wax. The team consists of Quality Inspectors and a Storesperson. This number can increase during peak times. This role runs on a day shift pattern: Monday - Friday - 06:00am - 16:45pm Weekend overtime is also available. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Supervising the team with inspection and rework activity * Supporting the Plant Manager with achievements and expectations * Supporting on the set up of new projects * Training and auditing live containment's * Generating work instructions and new processes * Communication between the team and Plant Manager * Escalating quality issues to the relevant business areas * Ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times * Supporting the Plant Manager with recruitment, inductions, appraisals and training. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: * Strong leadership skills gained within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment. * Ideally you will have Body in White / Metal / Paint knowledge * Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner. * Organised, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box. * Able to commute to Oxford reliably. This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available.
