Job Title: Body Project Engineer Location: Warwickshire (Onsite Position) Rate: £30-33Ph Umbrella Co Basis (Inside IR35) Project duration - March 2024 to November 2024 This role is to support the prototype assembly phase on body exteriors activities for a UK OEM. The role requires the successful Body Project Engineer to be present directly on production site (UK) at least 5 days per week and assist/ support the assembly phase of the prototypes for a Hypercar. The candidate is requested to participate to the daily production meeting, agree with the engineering team/project team and production the immediate conter measures to be applied during the production in order not to cause any delay in the assembly phase, being compliant to the project guidelines and target. The employee, being resident on the OEM production site, is requested to coordinate the daily work with the engineering team based in Italy as well as with the OEM project team based in UK. Skills Required: • The candidate must have demonstratable experience in product development, start of production/assembly and quality and issues management, in particular on mechanism, sealing, glasses. Knowledge of Platform layout is requested. • Specific knowledge in the general vehicle layout, in the layout of the overall passenger compartment, in occupants’ ergonomics issues, homologation and safety requirements. • Knowledge in the design of components and assembly parts in plastics, steel, aluminum and composite, with knowledge of assembly technologies , fixing technologies welding, gluing, assembly tolerances and in general it is required autonomy in the development • Experienced with NX CAD system at an high level for the analysis of CAD data. • Strong Communication skills with ability to prepare presentations with Microsoft Power Point.
