BMS Systems Integration Engineer - Peterborough (Hybrid) - Up to £38/hr - Inside IR35 A BMS Systems Integration Engineer opportunity has become available for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines. As a Battery Software Systems Integration Engineer, you will have responsibility for defining sign-off test procedures derived from FMEA actions, analysing large datasets for fault investigation, performance validation and general conformance against requirements. The work will also include presenting and documenting which will lead to the final sign-off against the BMS version. You will work closely with other Engineers, test laboratories and machine partners to define and deliver robust methods to validate the BMS software. Key Responsibilities include: Support FMEA processes and workstreams to create robust test plans. Support Lithium-Ion battery system performance and validation tests for BMS release. Support Lithium-Ion battery system testing, checking data quality, test result integrity and repeatability. Data analysis across multiple Conformance, Performance and Validation test protocols. Write requirements, procedures, and reports and formally present on test outcomes. You will also require some of the following: Effective and efficient data analysis experience. Experience processing large datasets and creating clear visualisation of results. Experience with lithium-ion battery systems and control. Providing hands-on test support (vehicle, machine, engine, battery or similar). Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation, teamwork). Office 365, Diadem, MATLAB, CANape. Experience of these is desirable, but anyone with coding experience would be considered (Python etc).
