They are looking for a Blender Designer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based remotely Job Description As a Blender Designer your main responsibilities are: Very quickly build a 3D blender model from 2D sketches (often with a CAD package) with minimal direction With support of a designer and engineers (back and forth exporting/importing parts for feasibility checks), refine the blender in order to provide a refined model precisely showing the design intent while respecting the technical input (like clearances, gaps, etc.). The desired end quality of the model must be good enough to freeze and commission a hard foam model from, and to use as the base for CAS surfacing with a minimum of design interpretation.Qualifications / Skills needed Extensive design experience using Blender Able to interpret the lead designers requirements for amendments and refinements to the 3D model, whilst also being able to offer creative solutions of your own.Desirable Qualifications / Skills Background in either automotive (ideally motorcycle) design or surfacing Technical knowledge of motorcycles Passion for motorcyclesWhy work through Contechs?
