WHAT TO EXPECT We are looking to appoint a talented Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) related Test and Data Analysis Engineer where you will have the the opportunity to ensure successful testing of our propulsion system on rigs and prototype vehicles, and handle the analysis of the corresponding data; this includes: liaising with the facilities team to build and commission rigs;  support post-processing data coming off the test properties to confirm pass/fail, and writing test reports to evidence; triage and resolving issues identified  This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the latest technologies supporting our new JLR product ranges, support your career advancement to progress to a lead engineering role and support JLR's electric vehicle programme. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Support build and commissioning of prototype rigs to ensure fit-for-purpose and issues are triaged and resolved Support / carry out testing of propulsion system test cases Carry out post-process analyse of test data to confirm pass/fail against technical requirement Generate test report to document test pass/fail and justification Triage issues identified on prototype rigs and vehicles  WHAT YOU’LL NEED You'll be an experienced data analysis engineer with your experience applied to systems engineering (Sys-V model) Familiar with data acquisition tools such as INCA, Canalyzer, Vector We would be keen to hear from those with Battery Electric Vehicle Propulsion system experience or knowledge You'll be a natural problem-solver with a structured approach to problem solving in a technical environment and have ability to validate, prepare and read engineering documents You'll be computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency to produce plans, presentations, graphs, process and Single Point Lesson (SPL) documents, and a holder of a full UK driving license with less than 6 penalty points, no disqualification, 2 years accident-free record is essential The role will involve multi site travel (all Midlands based) and potential international travel SO WHY US?
