WHAT TO EXPECT  This role is within the Prototype Battery Build Team which is part of Powertrain Operations and Test Engineering Department. The team maintains productive workflow from the Prototype Battery Build Facility at Lyons Park which delivers battery capability to the Powertrain Engineering and Electrification Teams for current and future JLR products.  As a Battery Build Supervisor, you will support battery electric module build prototype production, which includes coordinating and overseeing build engineering activities and people. Within this role will be responsible for overseeing the design and specification of components and processes used on the line, as well as ensuring that all equipment and supporting facilities are working accordingly to standards.  Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities  Coordinate and manage and deliver operational processes for the BEM prototype Build ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives of the area.   Delivered and attended daily start up meeting, ensuring robust handovers are in place for shift operations.   Managing a cross functional team, skills matrix and ensuring trainings of the team are up to date.  Build Engineering - validating parts and processes.  Fault finding investigating causes and resolution to faults online.  Tooling and equipment specification, calibration of facility and tooling.  Work with Lead supervisors to track delivery quality issues,   Managing team time and attendance/ absence in accordance with company policy.  WHAT YOU’LL NEED  Previous experience in Build Engineering or electrical, mechatronic background   Planning and project management and people management skills  Experience and knowledge of Quality management systems calibration and audit process.  knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessment, COSHH (CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)  Understanding HV battery systems, electromechanical principles   SO WHY US?
