B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers Location: United Kingdom Salary : £68,000k My client is currently seeking B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join our team the UK. Position Overview Join our dynamic team in the UK, a leading MRO provider, and take part in our exciting aircraft modification program. We're converting Boeing 737 NG aircraft into the E-7 Wedgetail, the world's most advanced Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform. As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our quality and inspection department, collaborating closely with experienced avionics technicians and supervisors to ensure the successful completion of our modification and production program. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough testing upon modification completion and utilizing your approval to certify the aircraft. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of processes within our Quality structure. The program will entail tasks such as equipment removal, installation of complex wiring harnesses, and modifications to existing wiring within Avionic shelves and panels. You'll be involved in various electrical and avionics tasks, including wiring terminations and testing, shelf and panel removal and installation, loom manufacture and testing, and systems testing. Skills & Experience Requirements: " CAA Part 66 B2 License. " Type rated on Boeing 737NG. " Inspection experience in both modification and production environments. " Profound knowledge of Avionics systems. " Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. " Proficiency in MS Office applications. " Subject to UK security vetting.
