If you hold the B1 license, we have a role available for you. Licensed Aircraft Engineers are responsible for performing maintenance on time and in accordance with the applicable requirements, regulations and approved standards in order that all maintenance is released to service in a safe and compliant manner. The Licensed Aircraft Engineer role also includes tasks not directly related to maintenance, but crucial to the overall functioning of the organisation. Such tasks shall be at the discretion of the DAM. THE ROLE Acts as support Staff and exercising privileges in accordance individual authorisation document; Supervision of Base maintenance activities Allocating work Satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracting operators / customers in accordance with the work specification (work order and approved MOE procedures); Ensuring that the organisation’s procedures and standards are complied with at all times; Interacting with Quality Auditors in order to that the quality function can perform unhindered; Implementation of the Quality policy and Human Factor issues; Working in, and maintaining facilities to a high standard; Performing maintenance strictly in accordance with approved maintenance data; Recording maintenance in a clear, unambiguous manner; When maintaining operational aircraft, under the direction of the respective CAMO, through effective management of the line station keep to a minimum the number of deferred defects and monitor the progress of rectification; Attending all required training, including aircraft type training when the organisation requires additional type coverage; For the incoming inspection of components, parts, materials, tools and equipment, the related classification, segregation and storage according to the manufacturer’s recommendations; Ensure that tooling & equipment is used in accordance with the relevant instructions and organisation procedures; Maintain tooling & equipment as directed by the DAM; Perform any reasonable duties associated with the upkeep of the line station and maintenance facility as directed by the DAM; When necessary, report problems and suggest improvements to the Director, Quality Aircraft Maintenance in respect of the organisation’s MOE & procedures in order to remain an up to date and accurate document reflective of the maintenance organisation; Maintain and uphold a Just Culture in the approved maintenance organisation; Submit internal occurrence reports to the Director, Quality Aircraft Maintenance when required and encourage colleagues to do same. Prepare relevant work packages and formally handover to maintenance personnel as applicable Review completed work packages, identify errors and/or omissions and liaise with maintenance personnel to have appropriate corrections made to ensure the system is reflective of maintenance activities performed Archive electronic copies of completed work packages and send original documentation to relevant CAMO Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work THE PERSON UK CAA/EASA Part 66 License (B1) Supervisory experience running base maintenance checks Hold at least 2 of type ratings: A320, A330, B767 or B757 Knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 66 & Part 147 HF Qualified EWIS Qualified SFAR88 Qualified Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in English language Ability to work IAW approved maintenance data THE PACKAGE Package is negotiable depending on experience and the role is a permanent position.
