Automotive Test Engineer - Test Management Group - £27.00/hr PAYE - Inside IR35 Do you have Test Engineering experience, and are you seeking a new contract role in Cranfield? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Engineer for their Test Management Group, and the role comes with a PAYE contract rate of £27.00 per hour (Inside IR35). As a Test Engineer, you will be leading the co-ordination and delivery of all testing activities and reporting to support and deliver R&D projects to market. If you were already in this Test Engineer role, here are some areas you would have worked in this week: Coordination of multiple large and/or small projects as requested by the Test Management Groups Senior Engineer to ensure they are delivered to the project schedule including, arranging feedback hearings, interrogating data and summarising project proposals. Testing by Digital and/or Physical evaluation of vehicle systems and products. Conduct concern investigation, root cause analysis and countermeasure development with relevant stakeholders. Work closely with all areas of R&D to plan, prepare and manage delivery and reporting of testing of projects. Prepare and issue the necessary documentation to the business according to the project schedules. To apply for this Test Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:          Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline with industry experience preferably in an automotive testing environment; or with other qualifications and suitable demonstrable experience in the engineering industry. General understanding of product development and the development process. Self-motivation to proactively identify what needs to be done rather than waiting to be told, by tracking, monitoring and reporting on assigned tasks. Ability to prioritise and work autonomously. Interpersonal skills, to be able to appreciate a multicultural environment and be able to communicate clearly with persons whose first language may not English. Knowledge and experience of Automotive industry is highly desirable. Proficient to communicate clearly in English language in business environment. Flexibility to travel within Europe and Internationally if required.
