Insight Employment are seeking an Automotive Technical Product Manager for a client based in MK. You will need to be a team player, working closely with the purchase department as well as the QA department, and qualifying product to meet the high standards that have been set by the company in the supply chain of automotive products into the automotive aftermarket. Full Time: 40 hours per week Mainly Office based split between two units 2 minutes apart. Points that would be advantageous to this role would be: - * Team Player * Essential – working with excel, word and being able to report failure & findings. * Understanding of how to read production or design drawings. * Measuring equipment – hardness testers, camshaft profiles, micrometres, use of campro plus, CMM. * To have a good understanding of the working combustion engine and the components within. * A form of engineering practice What would you be doing: - 1. Technical Product Manager 2. Working on New Parts supply & researching market price 3. Working on existing technical issues 4. Liaising with QA Department and suppliers with possible travel 5. Working closely with Purchase department. 6. Reading Drawings and modifying them as necessary (CAD, AUTOWORKS, etc.) 7. Researching OE numbers and referring them back for the aftermarket 8. Relaying the information to the Data team to maintain the e-cat. 9. Keep Marketing Informed of latest to range. 10.
