Automotive Parts Warehouse Supervisor Required for Automotive Trade Parts Operation Based in Croydon, Surrey * Pay: Circa £35,000 per annum * Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 5.30pm Our client a large Automotive Trade Parts Operation are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for their busy Parts Hub who operate throughout the entire United Kingdom. You will be leading, inspiring and motivating your Warehouse team, reporting to the Trade Parts Manager assisting with Barcoding, Deliveries, Loading delivery vans up, accepting returns and processing them in an organised and professional manner. Previous motor trade experience within a Warehouse / Parts Advisor role is preferred but not essential. Our client will be happy to look at candidates with supervisory or management goods in, goods out experience within a busy high volume warehouse environment. Parts Warehouse Supervisor involve overseeing the operations and personnel within the warehouse that manages automotive parts your day to day duties with our client will be: * Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Implement and oversee inventory control processes to minimise discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent shortages. * Supervision and Leadership: Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to warehouse personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment. * Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of automotive parts orders. Ensure that orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Implement systems to track and trace orders to ensure customer satisfaction. * Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees. Stay updated on and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. * Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that received parts meet specified standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues with the quality of stored parts. * Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems. Schedule regular inspections and repairs to prevent downtime. * Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within the warehouse. Implement and oversee changes to optimise workflow and reduce costs. * Communication: Maintain effective communication with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. * Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for warehouse staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and procedures. Support professional development opportunities for team members. * Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other relevant metrics. * Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of order accuracy and delivery times. * Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the warehouse budget, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
