Job Description: We’re looking for a Manufacturing systems engineer with experience of delivering Production Control Projects within the Automotive industry. The role is based in Crewe at one of our prestigious automotive clients sites operating within world-class manufacturing facilities. The project will run over 18-months and you’ll be responsible for updating, integrating and ensuring compatibility of the new vehicle project into production control systems. Working hours are (Apply online only) Monday to Thurs and (Apply online only) On Fridays. Requirements In order to efficiently deliver this project for Production Control, a full understanding of the current Production Control processes & activities as outlined below, including operation of the systems will be required - * Production Alignments to System Version List * Analyse Production errors and accurately report findings * Escalation of high priority production errors as appropriate * Baseline importing, comparison, validation checking and vehicle alignment * Baseline - ASP creation, running checks, analyse errors, failure feedback to R&D * Create exhaustion lists for use up changes * Create EZU/ZDC permitted deviations * Create and update Production configuration files * Create GIT validation sheet * Create GIT donor UPS specification * Create and implement Production escalation sheets * Sign-off and log relevant permits * Compile and release Production ASV release to line and test MFTD’s * Attend and represent all applicable meetings * Cut and Manifest System Updates * DC Tooling updates * Knowledge of VW Group Systems (Preferable) Benefits * World-Class Facilities at a prestigious car manufacturing plant * Early Finish on a Friday * Free On-site Car Parking * Flexible Start and Finish times How to Apply: Please click ‘Apply’ below or reach out to the recruitment team directly using the details below.
