Automotive Fitter £25,777 - £30,000 plus overtime (not guaranteed but currently available) Pay reviews and increases Rural Maidstone Permanent role Immediate interviews and start date available Monday to Friday - 39 hour week - Either 6:30am - 3:30pm Mon- Thurs and 6:30am - 11:30am Fri or 7:30am - 4:30om Mon- Thurs and 7:30am -12:30pm Fri Optional overtime currently available Monday to Saturday AM's and Monday to Friday PM's 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) Medical leave, cash plan, long service awards We are working in partnership with a market-leading automotive manufacturing company in the Kent area who are looking for an Automotive Fitter to join their busy, close-knit assembly department. The team has excellent longevity throughout, with the Assembly Manager (Line Manager for this role) having worked there for 18 years receiving numerous promotions throughout that time, having started as an Automotive Fitter himself. The successful Automotive Fitter will be a keen, committed individual with previous experience working as HGV fitters, plant fitters and have worked on heavy machinery with an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and general car mechanics. The duties for this Automotive Fitter will include but not be limited to: Fitting and assembling fabricated parts or subassemblies Setting up hydraulic and electrical systems including pressure testing Installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines Installing vales, pumps and motors Completing electrical tasks such as laying, connecting and securing wiring looms Dismantling faulty assemblies and repairing or replacing defective parts Understanding and fitting fixings such as nuts and bolts, hydraulic adapters and fittings and electrical plugs and terminalsYou will be available to meet with me initially before a face to face interview with my client.
