Automotive Engine Test Engineer - So what will you do: * Deliver engineering objectives set by the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Engineering Manager. * Generate engine installation packs and schematics for accurate test bed setups. * Identify engine/test delivery faults and collaborate with others to find effective solutions. * Process and validate engine test data. * Analyse engine data and understanding correct trends and causes for concern. * Track project efficiency and maintain project related invoicing. * Devise and lead initiatives to reduce waste and optimise efficiency. What skills and experience you need to be a Automotive Engine Test Engineer? * Automotive/Mechanical Engineering HND, Degree (Relevant experience of testbed operation will be considered in place of qualifications.) * 1-2 years minimum experience in an automotive engineering discipline * Test bed experience in an automotive testing environment. * Instrumentation experience (thermocouples, pressure transducers etc.). * Able to create test automation procedures/schedules with a view to maximize automated running.
