Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for an Automotive Embroidery Trimmer Specialist to join their team, on a 12-month rolling contract, inside IR35.  Please feel free to contact us to gain a better understanding of what this means for you. Position Description: This is an opportunity for an embroidery specialist to join our Client’s team to support a new and growing workstream. The candidate will be expected to develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production. Skills Required: Embroidery digitising. Experience of DG16 Tagima software. Experience of creating artwork, stitch paths, stitch types to meet a brief. Experience of all aspects of machine and hand sewing, preferably durkopp experience, is desirable. Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles, is desirable. Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly is desirable. Experience Required: Experience of digitising artwork to generate physical embroidery samples. Working knowledge of hand embroidery. Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs, CAD drawings and colour call outs. Experience of threads, textiles, leather variants and materials suited to the automotive industry. Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies. Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management
