Expleo are currently working with an internationally renowned major Automotive OEM, who are looking to recruit an Automotive Colour Designer, responsible for providing modern and innovative colour and material design to new vehicle programmes. This is a contract role based in Central London. Responsibilities of the Designer include: * Research and develop visual concept proposals with the Colour Group, to provide a unique and innovative perspective * Utilise the latest Design tools to illustrate the proposals * Research, develop and propose innovative materials or finishes with suppliers Qualifications and skills required for the Designer position: * Ideally Degree qualified in Art & Design or a relevant subject matter * Technical awareness of relevant material manufacturing processes * Automotive Industry experience, including knowledge of industry trends * Ability to challenge and innovate in colour and materials * Highly creative and innovative * Excellent communication skills ** PLEASE NOTE ** To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates can work in the UK.
