Here at The Job People, we are looking for a Vehicle Body Technician to join our depot in Telford. We are looking to recruit talented Vehicle Body Builder Technician with great customer focus, who can deliver fantastic results at our Body Shop in Telford. The main purpose of these roles will be to carry out effective repairs and planned maintenance to all company vehicles ensuring that all repairs are to the DETR guidelines and to those of the company's Standard Maintenance Policy. On completion of repairs to ensure that all company vehicles are on a safe and roadworthy condition for all concerned. £16.57 per hour, AM Shift, early starts from 5am / 6am. 38 hours per week. The role as a Vehicle Body Technician will involve: Carry out quality repairs to our client's standards and DVSA standards. Continuous improvement of vehicle standards in the automotive industry. General service, maintenance, and repair of public service vehicles Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings. Vehicle inspections Ensure vehicles are complete and safe to return to the customer.The successful applicant for Vehicle Body Technician will need: Experience with body repair (heavy vehicles) To possess excellent diagnostic skills Be a good communicator. Familiarity of the D.V.S.A. requirements would be desirable. Have sound knowledge of PCV/HGV body repair and the relevant qualifications. A full UK driving licence is essential and a PCV licence is advantageous.
