Our client is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join their team as a Car Valet/Detailer. This role involves ensuring that vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to the highest standards. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive care. Experience is preferred but not necessary, character and hard work is most important. Professional training in Valet and Detailing will be available for the right candidate. This is a role where you can progress and stay long-term. Key Responsibilities: 1. Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and surfaces, to remove dirt, debris, and stains. 2. Wash and polish vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques to achieve a showroom-quality finish. 3. Treat and condition leather, vinyl, and other materials to maintain their appearance and prolong their lifespan. 4. Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome trim to a streak-free shine. 5. Apply wax, sealants, and protective coatings to protect paintwork and enhance shine. 6. Inspect vehicles for any damage or imperfections and report findings to management. 7. Perform minor cosmetic repairs such as removing scratches, buffing out paint defects, and touching up paint chips. 8. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the valeting/detailing area and equipment. 9. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner. 10. Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Qualifications: 1. Previous experience in car valeting/detailing or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. 2. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. 3. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. 4. Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanour. 5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions. 7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
