Permanent Position Full Time 37 hours per week We are looking for a self-motivated and inspirational Assistant Technician to support our Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Team, who administer Devon's Street Lighting and Signal assets. Good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential. All work will be aligned to DCC core principals and behaviours with an aim to assist in our Strategic Plan. You should have a good general knowledge of Street Lighting and or Signals with awareness or experience with design, equipment installation, contractor liaison and be confident to work with electrical equipment on site. You will also be aware of new emerging and innovative technology including Central Management Systems, Smart Cities and Electric Vehicle charging. You should be educated to qualification Level 3 in engineering or equivalent, with an understanding of Highway Legislation and a commitment to health and safety.
