The hours of work in this Assistant Service Manager position are Monday - Saturday 08:30am - 17:30pm with a Day off during the week, Sundays off.  Responsibilities as a Assistant Service Manager for our Client Assisting the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service department. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by managing service appointments and vehicle repairs. Liaising with customers to discuss vehicle issues, providing estimates, and keeping them updated throughout the service process. Supporting and leading the service team, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality repairs. Managing the scheduling of service bookings and overseeing workshop control. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly. Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.Requirements of this Assistant Service Manager Role Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is essential. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. A hands-on approach with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
