Assembly Process Expert - Aircraft Manufacturing and Assembly - Shanghai, China.   Contractor Basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an exciting new aircraft program in Shanghai. Our Client requires  a strong Aircraft Manufacturing and Assembly process expert. Job Responsibilities: Planning the assembly test for the rear right sidewall panel of our new wide body aircraft, and lead the team to complete the test verification. Providing technical guidance for the assembly line of the three fuselage sections, communicate technical solutions with potential suppliers, and support the preliminary, detailed, and final design phases of the assembly line (tools and equipment). Solving technical problems during the assembly process (tolerance accumulation, deformation control, key challenges in composite material assembly). Guiding the formulation of the inspection scheme for the three-section fuselage assembly, and promoting the development and application of digital inspection technology in assembly. Candidate Requirements and Experience:   Experienced in assembly for the development and batch production of large commercial aircraft -  single aisle and widebody civil passenger aircraft from large OEMs such as Airbus and Boeing (8–10 years). Experienced in assembly of major aircraft components, having led the assembly of large sections such as wings, tail, fuselage barrels, etc.. Experienced in selecting and using automated assembly equipment; candidates with experience in planning large assembly lines or pulse lines are preferred. Experience in drilling processes for composite parts; understanding of composite forming processes is a plus. Able to use Chinese or English as the working language.This is a challenging and exciting role. Your knowledge, expertise and guidance will be critical to the success of the program. Candidate must be prepared to live and work in Shanghai for 1-3 years
