Assembly Lead We are currently looking for Assembly Leads to support Production Operations & train the Production Teams to build and assemble the Company's products to takt times and quality standards, in line with the Production Plan and through the application of Company processes and procedures. Assembly Leads will also support Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement. Location: Rugby (Crick) As a Assembly Lead you will work: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 Friday 07:30 - 13:00 As an Assembly Lead you will be paid. £29,067.50 As a Assembly Lead your duties will be: To adhere to all production documentation, instructions and drawings detailing the correct method of production To support and train the production team's new starters on the production line to enable them to build and assemble the Company's products to the required quality standards and at the required tact times To perform upskilling of production teams when requested To routinely check the quality of Assembly Operator output and ensure productivity levels across Assembly Operators remain consistently high to enable the Production Plan to be met To be the first port of call on the line for Assembly Operator requests for direction on assembly or quality To observe all batch and serial number traceability requirements, ensuring these are upheld at all times and all records are accurate Ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained To follow and complete all work in a timely manner, in the agreed priority and schedule order To maintain and promote good Health & Safety standards in your area and across the Company To support all continuous improvement activities throughout the factory by participation in and support of the outcomes including efficiency gains and waste reduction exercises To help maintain manufacturing KPI (key performance indicator) targets as communicated from time to time To ensure that your personal attitude and behaviour is professional, respectful, and positive, acting as a role model to colleagues To use all tooling in a safe and effective manner for the purpose it was intended To actively engage in any Company training programs and cross skilling to ensure that your skills and level of training are of the highest obtainable level and that you are fully flexible and able to build the widest range of products To assist in reducing raw material wastage by acting in a careful manner To collaborate and communicate effectively with the support departments, (Sales, Design, Supply Chain) as requiredSkills and experience required Attained a minimum of 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) - subjects to include Maths and English Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing Relevant experience in either a Production Operator Role or similar factory/Industrial based role in a lean manufacturing environment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel A calm and methodical approach to training colleagues Flexible, adaptable, and able to plan and set priorities for own workload and that of Assembly Operators in line with Production PlansWhat can our vacancies offer you?
