Apprentice Recruiter About Igloo! We are a recruitment business who have been operating for 18 years. We specialise in the transport/logistics and Automotive sector in all different types of recruitment, Temporary, Adhoc, Ongoing and Permanent. Main parts of the job Sourcing Candidates such as: (These could candidates for temporary, ongoing, or permanent work) * All types of drivers: * HGV Class 1 * HGV Class 2 * Van Driver * Warehouse operatives * Forklift Truck Drivers * Administrators * Transport/Logistics office staff * Customer service * Using different sort of online platforms to source the candidates such as online job boards Facebook, and LinkedIn * Interviewing the candidates to make sure that the candidates match the job criteria given by the customers. Such as length of the licence held, qualifications held and relevant experience. * Put candidates forward to consultants, who will then put the candidates forward to the customers. And letting the consultant know why you think the candidate will be good for the job. * Administration and compliance. Making sure that all candidates are compliant with help from the igloo compliance team. Progression We would look to progress you from an apprentice to a consultant. When you are a consultant, you would be doing the above plus, dealing with customers and have other duties such as. * Finding out what the customers daily requirements are. * Checking in to make sure all candidates have turned into work. * Taking new bookings from customers in as much detail as possible. As well as negotiating pay for the candidates. * Writing an advert from the information you have taken from the clients. * Booking staff into work, confirming with candidates, clients and booking them onto our inhouse system to make sure they get paid correctly. * Collecting drivers’ availability (what days they can work). * On call, this is where you take the work mobile home with you and deal with any issues that may happen out of hours (evenings and weekends) (you won’t be on your own! You will have a buddy to begin with until you are confident). * Payroll, you will have to assist the igloo payroll team with chasing timesheets from candidates and customers and helping to resolve any pay queries that may happen. * Having daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with clients. * Finding new ways to attracts candidates. * Conducts performance and concerns meeting or appraisals with our workers. Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 08:00 till 17:30, after completing 6 months we do finish early on alternative Fridays. We organise days out and event at work and like everyone to be involved. Salary You will start out on a timesheet (weekly pay) £5.28 per hour.
