Role: Aircraft Wireman Location: Cheltenham, GL51 6SP Duration: 3 months Rate: £32/hour Umbrella Inside IR35 The unlicensed engineer, is responsible for the completion of Avionic tasks, as defined in the CAME, ensuring it is correctly supervised by Licensed Engineers and escalating all problems to his/her superiors. All undertakings will be accomplished in accordance with approved data, company policies and procedures, including: Completion of all maintenance activities, as directed, in accordance with approved maintenance data and company policies and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation including the wearing and maintaining of appropriate PPE. Aircraft ground handling as required. Additional Engineering Tasks as nominated by the Base Maintenance Supervisors, Base Maintenance Co-Ordinator or Avionics manager Ensuring components fitted and removed are recorded, issued using the company computer system. Where necessary removed components are labelled correctly and stored, returned in the appropriate manner. Ensuring the formal reporting of incidents and near misses in accordance with company procedures and the appropriate escalation of issues to Base Maintenance or Management outside of the scope of responsibility or influence.Essential Experience: A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of rotary aircraft Avionic systems A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & safety and human factors awareness.
