As an Aircraft Material Supplier, you will be key in keeping the British Airways fleet in the sky. In this role, it will be your responsibility to ensure the receipt, storage and distribution of aircraft materials and tooling meet the operational and maintenance requirements in a cost-effective and timely manner. Responsibilities Transact aircraft materials and tools by the current technical procedures and processes. Deliver, move and distribute materials/tools to meet the operation's needs. Ensure good storekeeping practices and quality standards are maintained at a high level at all times. Responsible for compliance with health & safety, environment and quality legislation. Maintain stock accuracy via a cyclic audit process. Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements. Provide expertise about Dangerous Goods & Road Transportation regulations (where relevant IATA/ADR course certification/knowledge is held). Receipt aircraft materials into British Airways Engineering by the privileges granted under the approval of being an MIA stamp holder (in circumstances deemed to be required by the business and an individual holding an MIA stamp). Exercise personal responsibility and reasonable care in preventing harm to yourself and others Shift Patterns On average 40 hours a week.
