Role: Aircraft Fitter Location: Bournemouth Rate: £33 ph umbrella OR £24.40 paye This is a varied role, working on business and regional size jets in the workshop and out in the hanger in a team of aircraft fitters. Responsibilities: * Safety first. Operate in accordance with the SHE Technical standards. * Identify where the SHE Technical Standards are applicable to appointed operations/tasks and apply safe systems of work identified. * Apply countermeasures identified in applicable risk assessment to appointed operations/tasks. * To perform base maintenance and when required line maintenance on company and customer operated aircraft including, servicing, inspections, modifications, and defect rectification. * The control of any material or Company equipment provided for the task. * Keep all associated Base Maintenance equipment replenished and ensure service dates are complied with. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday starting at 7.30am. (4-day work week possible if preferred, but would be fewer hours). Likely to be circa 40-45 hours a week.
