Agile coach and Scrum Master Working alongside our major aerospace manufacturing client we are building a team of engineering experienced based Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters for a new project of up to 9 months to establish a clear approach to agile methodology and support an engineering re-design programme. The Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters will be required to support the engineering functions in ensuring the processes, approach and training is fully integrated, as well as support on the overall project management for technical and timescale delivery. In these roles, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the agile approach are developed and that user capability is grown as the programme builds. This will also include subsequent process evaluation and development. Including all project procedures through positive client engagement at all levels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any project or agile methodology issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the delivery of this challenging engineering project to exceed customer expectations. You will possess a strong background in engineering or manufacturing projects for NPI with exceptional agile methodology experience as a qualified professional with a proactive approach and mindset. Responsibilities . Lead and coach teams to adopt and implement agile methodologies, and promote open communication and engagement among team members ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals . Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership . Develop and implement short to mid-term operational and transformation plans, prioritize tasks and manage resources to achieve product goals in a timely and efficient manner through the utilization of metrics and evidence-based decisions . Constructing Epics and Stories, utilizing burn down charts but able to adjust some of the products to fit within wider Waterfall governance structures when needed. . Facilitate the team's progress towards team goals. . You will schedule and define the appropriate levels of governance for the tasks in hand, setting up Stand ups, demonstrations, and POC . Analyse and mitigate risks, manage the scrum budget adapting your reporting style to accommodate finance leaders' requirements, make sure the team has the right skills, then plan and delegate activity to hit deadlines, . Adopting the appropriate leadership style for the maturity of the team, within the scale from being directive to coaching, to achieve required business outcomes . Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback for improvement. . Collaborate with stakeholders to align expectations and outcomes. . Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment. . Facilitate decision-making processes and conflict resolution. . Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance, development, and work satisfaction. . Lead by example to instil Agile principles and a growth mindset in the team. . Lead improvement teams in the development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions and process audits . Coordinate with plant leadership to prepare consolidated plant, customer, and product status information and action plans Skills and experience . Proven experience as an Agile team coach or scrum master, working with cross-functional teams, and desirable to have appropriate certification. . Strong knowledge of agile principles and practices and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and changing environments. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. . Strong collaboration and facilitation abilities. . Demonstrated Project Management experience . Project managed software implementation or software development for either: PLM, PDM, ERP, CRM or CPQ . Understanding of both on-premises and cloud-based software deployments would be beneficial . Exposure to, or experience in design engineering and/or manufacturing operations and processes Desired Characteristics: . Certificate in Project Management: PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, APM, AgilePM, Scrum Master, MSP, MoP, or Six Sigma .
