Hunter James Recruitment are assisting our client - a well-established organisation within the Commercial Vehicle (HGV) industry with their search for a AFTERMARKET / DEPOT MANAGER (HGV/COMMERCIAL VEHICLE) to join their fantastic team in Devizes THE ROLE: * Day to day management of the Aftersales departments between the company’s depots * Improve and optimize on standards / performance of the parts and service teams through effective performance management and development * Cultivate successful business culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention and new business for both workshop and parts * Optimize and improve customer service standards and ensure the departments run in according with company standards and key performance indicators. * Operating to achieve a very high KPI standard including MOT Pass Rate / Breakdown results whilst maintain the company’s standard at all times * Increase efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the depots * Regular review resources in order to meeting all servicing requirements to ensure that key performance indicators are met – consistently reviewing labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales, debtors. * Carry out internal audits to ensures depots are fully complaint in terms of both ISO and Health & Safety * Reporting directly to directors and keeping all parties updated with constant communication * Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors. * Advise on the need for investment if and when required within the depots * Arrange and attend regular depot meetings to allow for a clear communication channel as well building great team relationships THE CANDIDATE * Experience in leading, managing and developing teams. * Experience within the Commercial Vehicle sector is essential * Excellent communication skills at all levels. * Good Organisational Skills. * An approachable personality * Ability to focus efforts and prioritise work * Attention to detail * Client facing experience being able to manage client expectation * Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure IN RETURN The successful candidate will receive a competitive package including * Competitive Basic salary * Bonus structure * Company Vehicle * Laptop & Mobile Phone Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £70,000.00 per year
