Aerodynamics Engineer (Performance Planning and Testing) - 0832 - £27.00/hr PAYE Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an Aerodynamics Engineer (Performance Planning and Testing) to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This 12-month contract role is based in Cranfield and offers a favourable rate of £27.00 per hour PAYE. As an Aerodynamics Engineer (Performance Planning and Testing), you will manage and direct aerodynamics development across multiple vehicle projects, ensuring timely achievement of targets. Please note, we cannot progress candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK. In your first few weeks in this Aerodynamics Engineer (Performance Planning and Testing) role, you can expect to: Maintain and update critical documentation Foster collaborative relationships with stylists, test technicians, and design engineers to meet project and business goals Coordinate with cross-functional R&D teams globally (UK, Japan, France, Spain) Plan and organise wind tunnel testing for vehicle development and homologation in a European facility Conduct CFD simulations, analyse data, and provide recommendations based on flow physics To apply for this Aerodynamics Engineer (Performance Planning and Testing) role, you will need a first or second-class honours degree in Aeros or a related field, or equivalent relevant working experience in aeros and automotive. Ideally, applicants should have experience in automotive aeros testing and development.
