Accounts Assistant Location: Bradford Salary: £28,000 per annum Contract: Temporary Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Swift Temps Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong customer service experience to work within a long-standing, family-run business. Key Responsibilities: * Processing sales and purchase invoices using QuickBooks * Handling supplier and customer account queries * Maintaining and updating spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel * Dealing with customers over the phone and face-to-face * Processing sales orders and ordering parts * Liaising with customers via email regarding orders and queries * Driving vans and cars as required as part of the role * Safely transporting vehicles back to Kirklees Council offices in Huddersfield Requirements: * Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant * Essential: Proven experience using QuickBooks * Strong knowledge of sales order processing and invoicing * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks * Professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills * Must hold a valid full UK driving licence * Confident and competent driving both vans and cars
