This organisation is now actively recruiting for a 5 Axis Milling Machinist to come in and support the established team on site whilst adding new ideas, this is a fantastic opportunity to start with a market leader! We are looking for a candidate who is ideally apprentice trained, to come in and assist on complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high profile. Our clients machinists work to exceptionally close tolerances, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities  CNC machining experience, able to set and run multiple machine / processes Experience of the setting and operating CNC 5 Axis Milling Work Centre’s Proven knowledge & experience of Matsuura and DMG machines is preferred To be able to carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentationDesirable Qualities  A recognised engineering apprenticeship  Previous experience of engineering / manufacturing role ideally within aerospace industry  Good knowledge of machining techniques & appropriate tooling.  Proven skills within a multi-axis / complex machining environment.  Attention to detail & accuracy, and process improvement techniques  Using the relevant inspection techniques / equipment to achieve drawing toleranceIf this role look of interest then please don't hesitate to get in touch and we will reach out and give you more detail
