We're working with a defence engineering leader to appoint a Yard Operative who will be supporting their Maintenance Operations team for cleaning and loading/unloading of various machinery and vehicles. This person will work with all the mechanical machinery (pressure washers) to support the up keep and maintenance of military vehicles and equipment. Location: Wareham, BH20 6JD PAYE Contract, 12 months with good permanent prospects.   Pay:  £11.29/hr plus holiday allowance. Permanent salary equivalent £21,700. Needs to be eligible for a Security Clearance (at least5 years of residence in the UK required).  Key Responsibilities: Load and unload equipment on & off the Wash / Blast area or into Chem Clean machines and operate machinery. To remove oils, dirt, rust or paint with appropriate cleaning equipment. Supporting the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul process. Vehicles are washed down in an exterior area using high pressure washing equipment. There will be a requirement to work at height and in confined spaces.
