Join our team as a Workshop Supervisor, where you’ll combine technical know-how with team leadership to keep our fleet running safely, efficiently, and compliantly. Workshop Supervisor Duties This is a hybrid hands-on and supervisory role — roughly 70% on the tools, 30% managing people and performance. You’ll: Lead, motivate, and support technicians and apprentices. Allocate work, monitor KPIs, and drive productivity. Perform PMI’s, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs. Ensure DVSA, MOT, and Operator Licence compliance. Promote workshop safety and conduct audits and investigations. Liaise with operations to prioritise repairs and reduce downtime. Support training, development, and performance management.Workshop Supervisor Experience Required Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop or fleet environment or an experienced HGV Technician ready to take the next step into leadership NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). Strong hands-on HGV maintenance and diagnostics experience. Understanding of DVSA, MOT, and Operator Licence standards.
