Our client, the No1 motor trade employer in the UK, is looking to recruit an experience Workshop Manager

• Reporting to the Head of Aftersales, this is running the team of the busiest workshop in brand in the UK.
• The person will have a team reporting to them of 25 Techs, 3 Workshop Controllers, 3 Apprentices, 3 Service/Warranty Admin
• Excellent progression opportunities and development available.
• Must be a coach, leader and people person, whilst also being rigorously process driven.
• You will lead a fantastic team in delighting customers and getting it right first time.
• Your key role will be to oversee our technical team within the service department.
• You will need excellent leadership and motivation skills and have the ability to work in a high pressured environment, delivering a full Aftersales service whilst maximising profitability, efficiency and quality by meeting both manufacturers and Group standards.

About you

• Looking for an individual with customer focus and a strong technical knowledge, who has previous experience in a main dealer service/aftersales environment.
• You will need excellent leadership skills and the ability to work in a high pressured environment, delivering a full Aftersales service to our customers , maximise efficiency to support the sales of parts, labour hours, MOT, lubricants, tyres and subcontracted sales.
• You will be able to motivate the team in performing to the highest standards and to focus on supporting newer members of the team.

Working in a fast paced busy franchised dealership

Liaising with Technicians & front of house Service Advisors

Handing work out to Technicians

Speaking with customers on the phone or face to face

Assisting and reporting back to the Aftersales Manager

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm

Saturdays are not on a rota, but expectations would be 1 in the month as and when required.

Salary:

£34k basic but negotiable and will increase.

£50k++ OTE uncapped earning and will be higher with 'Overs'.
