Workshop Manager – HGV Dealership (West Thurrock) Salary: £55,000 + 10% Bonus Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 Location: West Thurrock Our client, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a busy HGV workshop. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for technician management, workshop performance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. What You’ll Do Manage daily workshop operations and technician workload Ensure all repairs and services are completed on time and to quality standards Monitor and improve workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability Support customers with clear communication and problem-solving Report on workshop KPIs and ensure accurate invoicing and documentation Identify training needs and support ongoing staff developmentWhat We’re Looking For Experience in an HGV workshop at Supervisor level or above Strong leadership and people-management skills Confident in planning, productivity management, and KPI reporting Customer-facing experience with good problem-solving ability Ideally a Level 3 HGV Technician qualificationIf you're an experienced workshop leader looking for the next step, we’d love to hear from you.
