Workshop Controller Avant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leader within the Motor Industry. We are currently searching for a Workshop Controller. This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and competitive salary. The main responsibilities for the Workshop Controller are as follows: * Supervise and monitor performance of technicians and apprentices within the workshop to ensure maximum efficiency * Plan and prioritise workload and job cards for the workshop * Quality checking work * Ensure all work carried out is up to standard and complies with legislation and brand policy * Ensure all work carried out is done so in a timely manor * Provide support to technicians as and when required * Liaise with other departments and customers To be a successful candidate for the Workshop Controller role you must: * Have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or similar * Previous experience in a similar role or a senior service technician looking for next step * Have technical ability to quality check and inspect work * Have a full UK driving license * Be happy to go on tools if required Salary and Benefits: * £35k basic salary (OTE £41k) * Performance bonus * Health insurance * Pension scheme * Company car schemes * Enhanced holidays If you feel you have the right skill set, knowledge and experience and are looking for a new and rewarding challenge then please apply for the Workshop Controller role now
