Job description Our client is recruiting for a Workshop Controller based at their Nottingham site. Terms: Permanent Location: Nottingham Reports To: Service Manager Hours of Work: Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays till 12.00 noon 40-45 Hours per Week TBC Salary: £35k Additional Benefits: Increased Holiday Entitlement with Length of Service, Recruitment Incentive Awards, Long Service Awards, Health Care Scheme and Cycle to Work Scheme. Main Duties and Responsibilities * Responsibility for the efficient running of the workshop and maintaining high levels of productivity. * Ensuring the workshop machinery and tools are maintained, thus maintaining a professional workshop environment at all times. * Install a ‘right first time’ mentality with all your direct reports. * Providing technical support when required, during training or MOT testing. * Ensure team compliance with processes to ensure recording and invoicing accuracy * Ensuring good housekeeping and security in the workshop, leading by example. * Liaise with Service to ensure customers are kept informed and manage any complaints that may arise Person Specification * Prior knowledge of the HGV commercial vehicle automotive industry. * Proven IT Skills * Proven experience of coaching and mentoring staff. * Previous experience working for a Main Dealer Job Type: Full-time Salary: £35,000.00 per year Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: * English not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: * Bonus scheme Experience: * Workshop IT Skills: 2 years (preferred) * Main Dealer HGV Workshop: 2 years (preferred)
