Workshop Controller Pay - £40000 -£60000 Mon to Fri Excellent Benefits * Key Responsibilities * Operational Control * Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload. * Monitor workshop activity to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. * Ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes. * Control work in progress (WIP) to minimise delays. * Quality Control * Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company standards. * Conduct final quality checks on completed jobs where required. * Ensure correct repair methods are followed. * Team Coordination * Act as the main link between Service Advisors and Technicians. * Provide technical support and guidance to workshop staff. * Manage technician time and attendance. * Workflow Management * Plan workshop capacity and schedule work accordingly. * Ensure parts required are ordered and available. * Monitor job progress and update Service Advisors. * Health & Safety * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. * Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment. * Customer Service Support * Assist in resolving technical issues or customer concerns. * Support Service Advisors with technical explanations if needed. * Performance Monitoring * Track technician efficiency and productivity. * Support achievement of labour sales targets. * Identify training needs within the team
