Role Overview As a Prep Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment for painting. This involves working in a dusty and noisy environment, using hands-on techniques to ensure all equipment is ready for the next stage of production. This is a physical role that requires focus and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently for the majority of the day. Key Responsibilities * Preparing heavy equipment and construction plant for painting. * Sanding, masking, and cleaning equipment to the required standard. * Ensuring the workspace is clean and organised. * Handling tools and equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations. What We’re Looking For * A reliable and self-sufficient individual comfortable working alone for extended periods. * Physically fit and able to handle hands-on tasks in a dusty and noisy environment. * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work. * Experience in a similar environment or role is advantageous but not essential. * Commitment to maintaining a high standard of work.
