Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant to support our vehicle technician team with general shop floor organisation, cleanliness and hands on labour. The ideal candidate will possess a good eye for detail, take pride in their work and have the ability to pre-empt the needs of the workshop team and business as a whole. This role also offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and learn on the job. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and efficiency. Duties Include but not limited to: * Helping our team build and fit our custom coffee vans * Assisting with basic carpentry and joinery tasks * Washing and preparing vehicles for conversion * Sorting incoming deliveries and putting materials in the right place * Keeping the workshop tidy and organised * Moving vans around the yard * Occasional deliveries or collections in the company vans * Learning to fit LPG systems and other components (full training provided) Ideal Candidate: * Some experience or interest in carpentry, joinery, or vehicle work * Willing to listen, learn, and take direction * Positive attitude and good attention to detail * Reliable and takes pride in their work * Must have a full manual UK driving licence * Must be over 21 years old and have held a full UK driving licence for 2+ years (for van insurance purposes) What we offer: * Great opportunity to learn a trade and grow within the company * Training in LPG fitting, electrical systems, and joinery * Supportive, hands-on workshop environment * Clear path to develop new skills and progress over time * Small business/team environment with people that are passionate about what they do * Free coffee!! * Company pension * On-site parking * Holiday Buy Back Scheme
