Position Summary A dependable and detail-driven individual is required to take ownership of inventory and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment. As demand increases, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring smooth material flow is vital to supporting production efficiency and supply chain integrity. Key Duties & Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately log them into the system Flag and resolve any inconsistencies in shipments with internal teams or suppliers Organise and store materials securely in labelled, logical locations Conduct routine stock checks and cycle counts, investigating and resolving any variances Allocate and issue components to production according to work orders or build kits Identify and communicate any inconsistencies in stock data or part numbers to support accurate inventory tracking Help ensure system alignment by maintaining clean, up-to-date inventory records for planning systems Support layout optimisation and workplace organisation, following principles like 5S and FIFO Collaborate with production, quality, and planning teams to ensure timely availability of required parts Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organised working area Candidate Requirements Experience in a warehouse, goods-in, or inventory control role, preferably within a manufacturing or technical setting Understanding of stock management practices and materials issuing procedures Awareness of how accurate stock levels impact production planning and scheduling systems Strong attention to detail with a methodical, process-focused mindset Comfortable using basic digital tools such as spreadsheets, inventory software, or barcode scanners Physically fit and capable of handling goods safely and efficiently Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across departments
