As a Warehouse Operative, we can offer you: * A competitive hourly rate (depending on experience) + overtime * DAF Academy Warehouse Operative Training * 30 days paid holiday (including statutory) rising to 33 with service * Employee Of the Month Competition * Career progression opportunities * Free parking * Employee Assistance Program * Career Progression Opportunities * Pension * Death in Service Life Insurance Scheme * Cycle to work scheme * DAF Incentive Programme Who are we looking for as a Warehouse Operative: * Ideally you will have previous experience working within a Stock Control Warehouse environment, or similar role. * Must be Computer literate with the ability to learn appropriate systems and software and then use them confidently and efficiently, as this position is approx.. 50% computer work. * Accurate data input and attention to detail is crucial to the success of this role. * Self-motivated to locate and process goods inwards in a timely manner. * Experience in a parts or distribution operation involving inventory control, goods inwards, goods returns and order picking would also be an advantage, but not essential. * Having a FLT licence would be preferable but not essential. * Demonstrate a positive 'can-do' attitude. * Full UK Driving Licence. The Warehouse Operative role / responsibilities include (but not limited to): Placing inbound parts into the correct locations. Identifying and picking outbound parts for distribution. Control, package and data input the return of parts to suppliers. Ensure the stores are tidy and organised, with a high standard of location accuracy. Maintain the correct labelling of all stores locations. Ensure there is always a quick and efficient response to customer and depot requirements. Competent housekeeping of the warehousing area. There will also be occasional driving duties, as and when required.
