My client is seeking a proficient and seasoned Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager to oversee their operations. This role entails managing the warehouse efficiently, ensuring precise inventory control, and optimizing logistics processes. Role: Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager Location: Hertfordshire - Onsite Role Hours: Monday- Friday 37.5 Hours a week Salary: Upon Application Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of spare parts. Develop and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure precise stock control. Oversee and enhance warehouse layout and organization to maximize operational efficiency. Design and execute logistics strategies to optimize the transportation of parts, ensuring timely and cost-efficient deliveries. Regularly evaluate and refine logistics processes to improve overall supply chain performance. Implement and uphold quality control procedures for the receipt and dispatch of spare parts. Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Manage and inspire a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, offering guidance and support to drive peak performance. Organize regular training sessions to boost the skills and expertise of the warehouse and logistics team. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards within the warehouse and during transportation. Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard aviation spare parts and prevent loss or damage. Generate regular reports on warehouse and logistics performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement. Analyse data to identify trends, assess operational efficiency, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements. Skills/Experience Demonstrated experience in warehouse and logistics management within the aviation sector. In-depth understanding of aviation spare parts, warehouse management systems, and logistics software. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities. Skilled in fostering enduring business relationships. Proficient in analyzing complex logistics data and making strategic decisions.
