The garage offers MOT’s, servicing and repairs to a huge range of vehicles, they are looking to recruit an experience Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their busy team. About The Role: * Mot testing on cars, vans up to 3.5ton, 4 x 4's & motorhomes. Up to date testing qualifications & assessments. * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. * Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns. * Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair or maintenance task. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs. * Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety. * Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Candidate Requirements: * Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required. * Experience working with GM vehicles is preferred but not required. * Proficiency in equipment repair, including welding and auto body repair, is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. * Full UK Driving Licence.
