This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join a busy and thriving workshop that takes pride in delivering excellent workmanship and customer service. We are looking for a technician who is confident in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and delivering high standards of mechanical work across a wide range of vehicles. Vehicle Technician Role and Responsibilities: Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models. Carry out vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment. Complete MOT preparation and repairs as required. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines. Accurately complete job cards and update vehicle service records. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Provide technical support to colleagues and contribute to a positive workshop culture. Liaise with service advisors and customers where necessary to explain faults and repairs. Vehicle Technician Requirements: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, or Automotive Technician – essential. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair) – essential. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. Experience working in an independent garage or fast-fit environment is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
