Vehicle Technician (Classics/Modern Vehicles) Required * Based in Didcot - Oxfordshire * Independent Specialist Garage * Salary Details: £34,000 - £38,000 * Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM - No weekend work Monday Matters Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a highly respected independent specialist garage in Didcot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for high-performance vehicles to work in a dynamic and well-equipped workshop. Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including modern daily drivers and vintage/classic automobiles. Skilled in both contemporary diagnostic tools and traditional mechanical methods. Duties include routine maintenance (brakes, oil changes, tune-ups), complex engine and drivetrain repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and restoration work on classic vehicles. Strong attention to detail and a passion for automotive history and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair vehicle faults effectively using specialist equipment. * Perform regular maintenance and servicing of a wide range of vehicles. * Supervise and mentor junior technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality protocols. * Collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. * Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including parts used and time spent. * Stay updated with the latest industry best practices and technological developments.
